Reservation and cancellation policy

The prices published on the Punta Amanay website will be considered the only valid prices. PUNTA AMANAY reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Valid prices will be applied at the time of booking confirmation. No reservation will be considered confirmed without payment of the required deposit. The price of the dive includes TRANSPORTATION from the dive centre to the dive site (boat or car), TANK of 10 or 12 litres (air or nitrox), WEIGHTS and GUIDE. The rest of the equipment is not included and can be rented directly at the diving centre. The complete standard rental package consists of REGULATORS with an alternate air source and a console with a pressure and depth gauge, a 6 MM WET SUIT, a BCD, FINS, booties and a MASK. A dive computer is NOT included The beginner diving courses (Try dive, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver) include all the necessary equipment and gears, as well as an accident insurance. The other courses do not include an accident insurance nor rental equipment (unless explicitly mentioned).

Reservations are made for a specific activity (course or dives), date and time. If the client wishes to guarantee his/her place, this must be reserved in advance. To make a reservation, the payment of a deposit will be required. This payment can be done through the online payment platform offered by PUNTA AMANAY within the terms (Deadline Date / Time) indicated. Once this deadline has expired, PUNTA AMANAY does not guarantee the availability of the requested activity/place and the client must contact PUNTA AMANAY again to reconfirm the possibility of carrying out the desired activity. Once the availability is checked, another e-mail will be sent to the client with updated information so that he/she can proceed with the payment and thus having the desired activity/place guaranteed.

Payment of the deposit implies that the customer has read and agrees with the cancellation policy detailed below.

Once the day of the reserved activity has arrived, the full pending amount must be paid before the activity can be carried out. ?PUNTA AMANAY offers a series of dives at dive sites that, in general, are not scheduled in advance. Due to various reasons, but especially due to weather conditions (wind, waves, currents, etc.) the destinations of the dives cannot be guaranteed in advance. We always do our best to fulfil the wishes of our customers; however, we can never guarantee that the dive will be carried out at a specific dive site.

To dive in Spain, it is required to present a diving certification, diving insurance (if the client does not have one, it can be purchased separately at the diving centre) and a document that proves the client is in good health to dive. It is the client's responsibility to be able to demonstrate being in possession of such documents. Regarding the diving certification, in addition to the diving card (physical or digital), a photo, copy or screenshot (from the official website of a diving organization) of the above-mentioned certification, will also be accepted. We will not accept emails, letters, documents from other diving centres or instructors (i.e., ensuring that the clients have got the proper credentials), as well as dives recorded in dive books or computers. If the client cannot justify his/her diving credential, he/she will not be able to carry out the reserved dive/activity and no refund or change will be made.

Once the deposit has been paid and the activity has been confirmed, in case of not being able to carry it out, the following money return policy will apply:

• in the event of cancellation of the activity by PUNTA AMANAY diving center, 100% of the amount paid for the booked service will be refunded, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
• in the event of cancellation of the activity by the client, 100% of the amount paid for the reserved service will be refunded, given that such cancellation is made up to 10 days before the activity. For cancellations up to 2 days before, 50% will be refunded. For cancellations with less than 2 days of notice (i.e. with less than 48 hours before the activity), the amount paid will not be refunded.
• For activities involving a collective reservation of 4 places or more, the following parameters will be used: in the event of cancellation of the activity by the group of divers, 100% of the amount paid for the booked service will be refunded, given that the cancellation is made up to 30 days before the reserved activity. For cancellations up to 7 days before, 50% will be refunded. For cancellations with less than 7 days of notice, the amount paid will not be refunded.
• Groups from 8 or more people are considered rightful to obtain a discount. The prices offered to these groups will be valid only if the whole group books the entire package offered. PUNTA AMANAY will charge the group leader/manager the total price agreed for that group in advance and will not be held responsible or make refunds if part of the group eventually participates in fewer services than those reserved.
• For activities involving expenses with payments to third parties (i.e., the purchase of digital packages to access the online theory of SSI or PADI courses, extra boat rental, etc.), no refund will be given for the amount corresponding to the payment made to these third parties / companies. The refund conditions mentioned above will be eventually applied to the amount that may be left.
• Once the client gets on the boat, no money will be refunded for any of the following reasons: seasickness/motion sickness/vertigo, compensation problems, cold or any issue with the diver's own equipment.

PUNTA AMANAY staff may deny access to the diving center or participation in the dive/activity if the client clearly shows symptoms that prevents him/her to be physically fit to dive (intoxication from alcohol or other drugs, inability to make minimal physical efforts required) or shows serious deficiencies on mastering the basic diving techniques and knowledge required to carry out the reserved activity.
