If you are healthy, no. The decree 550/2020 regulates safety while diving. There is a medical questionnaire that each diver or dive student has to fill out. If you do not meet any of the conditions of the questionnaire that would require further examination, you do not need to provide a medical certificate. Otherwise, you will have to present a certificate that shows you are fit to dive so you can dive safely and enjoy the diving experience.

It is important to learn to compensate the pressure in the ears while going down to the bottom of the ocean. If you are a beginner, your instructor will explain how to do it. No, it is not. It is a very safe and well-regulated sport. Accidents are very rare and if they happen, most of the time they are the result of reckless behavior and not due to equipment failure or animal attacks. This is induced by the movies.

You ask your partner for some air. All divers have an alternate air source in case someone needs to share air.

The most dangerous animal is the human. Divers are just going to observe the nature. If we don't overwhelm the animals and leave them alone, nothing will happen. In the Canary Islands there is no record of any animal attack on divers.

Yes, you have to know how to swim. But it doesn’t matter if you are not a very good swimmer. The most important thing is to feel comfortable surrounded by water.

There are countless things to see at the bottom of the ocean- volcanic landscapes, all kinds of fish, invertebrates and much more.

You have to wait a minimum of 12 hours. If you have been diving for several days, it is wise to wait 24 hours.

There are more than 20 dive sites. One vacation might not be enough to see them all. So you have a good excuse to choose Fuerteventura as your travel destination again.

The vast majority of our dive sites are in the waters around the island of Lobos. We always choose the best place according to the conditions and the experience of the divers. But we will never enter the island. For the same reason we cannot pick up or drop people off at Lobos either.

We dive in the Atlantic Ocean so there can be strong currents. But our experience allows us to predict when and where they will be. However, the conditions are checked on site before the dive. If we have made a mistake and it turns out that there is too much current to be able to dive comfortably, we raise anchor and go somewhere else. It doesn’t mean that if there is current at one dive site, it is like this at all dive sites.

You can dive all year round and each season has its advantages and disadvantages. If you are looking for angel sharks, it is better to come between November and February. In spring we usually have very good visibility and the fauna is very active. In summer the water is warmer and in September and October the sea is calm.

It depends on the time of year. In the summer months a 5MM suit will be enough. The rest of the year we recommend a 7MM or a semi-dry suit.

No. Our equipment is exclusively available for our divers.

The boat has only few seats and they are reserved for divers. It is not a yacht with a solarium. It is a rigid inflatable boat that is prepared for diving, but is not comfortable to walk around on.

If you prefer, yes. We have a private guide service that can be booked for your dive.

If you are a certified diver and you respect the dive guide's instructions, of course you can. If you are a beginner, it is better to be focused on what we are doing. But if you give the camera to your instructor, they will be happy to take a few great pictures.
