Dives at the Isla de Lobos
General description
The Island Lobos in Fuerteventura is one of the best diving destinations in the Canary Islands. The beauty of its white sand bottoms, lava formations and a wide variety of fish makes it one of the most beautiful diving areas in Europe. If we add the warm ocean, the good weather and the beautiful beaches, the North of Fuerteventura is the perfect holiday destination throughout the whole year! Punta Amanay Diving Center offers daily dives around the island of Lobos. With depths ranging from 6 m to more than 40 m, we always have something interesting to offer both for beginners and experienced divers.
If you already have a diving license, we organize 2 dives every day. The first (8.30h) is reserved for experienced divers and the second (10.30h) is accessible to all levels. Since we return to the diving center between those to dives, you can choose between doing one of them or two.
And if you want to start diving, we organize try dives and diving courses several days a week.
Requirements
- Diving license. For some dives an advanced level is required.
- Good health (a responsible statement of your own health or a medical certificate, proving that you are fit dive, is required)

Approximately 3 hours.

- Boat trip to the dive site
- Tank (air or Nitrox) 10L or 12L and weights
- Certified dive guide
Not included
- Rental of the diving equipment (you can rent everything you need at the diving center)
- Diving insurance (you can book the insurance separately). The decree 550/2020 of June 2020 regulates safety in diving and states the following in its Chapter III Art 18.4: "Anyone practicing recreational diving must have accident and liability insurance that covers any type of incident and accident that may occur throughout the whole diving process.”

Amazing team and dive
The dive centre Punta Amanay is definitely one of the best centres I’ve ever been to. The team is amazing and incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt instantly comfortable! Furthermore, the equipment they’re renting out is of high quality.?The dives I did, were next to the island “los Lobos” and we saw a lot of different fish and many trumpet fish, barracudas and moraines. The instructors really tried to make the most out of the dives for each person, which I really appreciated. Great diving centre
A great diving centre with very good, friendly and helpful staff! My teenagers enjoyed their dives with them during our stay in Corralejo this July. My older son also did another course with them. Highly recommendable diving centre!!
