Do you want to get a diving certificate? This is where you start.
The most famous diving certificate in the world is the OPEN WATER DIVER. It is the first license that allows you to dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters without the supervision of a professional. Theoretical classes, exercises in the pool and FOUR dives in the open sea around the island of Lobos and you have it! Our experienced instructors will guide you step by step throughout the course so you can gain the necessary experience and comfort while diving. After completing this course you will be able to plan and conduct dives without the need to be accompanied by an instructor.
Requirements
- You are able to swim and feel comfortable in the water
- Minimum age of 12 years
- Good health (a responsible statement of your own health or a medical certificate, proving that you are fit to dive, is required)
- Swimsuit and towel
- You cannot fly the same day after taking part in the activity

Friendly, professional staff and a fantastic experience
I did my PADI open water here a couple of weeks ago. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, explained everything really well and made me feel very comfortable and at ease at every stage of the course. Visited some lovely dive sites and saw lots of different wildlife. If we come back to Fuerteventura in the future, we will certainly be back. A massive thank you to you all for helping me discover a whole new world!
Superb Dive Centre
I have just completed my Open Water with Punta Amanay. Kristof and his team were fantastic, and I finished the week with a dive just for fun. Although I started feeling nervous, the team helped me relax and enjoy the experience and who would have thought my diver journey would have been saved by a tub of Vaseline ????. Thanks to you all and I’ll see you again for the Advanced.
