If you want to start your journey as a scuba diver, you are at the right place. At Punta Amanay, you can choose among our beginners diving courses and start enjoying the beauty of the sea. No previous experience is required for these courses, so you don’t need to worry about anything.
One of the most basic beginners diving experience and the one most people choose as their first step into diving is a Try Dive. It is the best option if you are not sure about diving, but you want to give it a go. You will learn the basic techniques of diving in our indoor heated pool, until you are comfortable in the water. After that, you will practice those techniques at Lobos Island. It's 100% safe, and you don't need any previous experience. It's your chance to try something different that you're sure to love.
Beginners diving course: all you need to know
On the other hand, if you are not sure about taking the Open Water course, you can opt for the Basic Diver Course. It is also a beginners diving course, so you won’t need previous experience. The course will offer you a theoretical session, practical exercises in our pool and a dive at Lobos Island. You will also get a certificate to continue diving or continue with the Open Water course for 6 months, accompanied by a diving professional. It is one of the first steps if you want to learn diving and continue your experience.
If you want something more, the Scuba Diver Course is a certificate for beginners. It will offer you the same practices as the previous courses, but you will obtain a permanent certificate to dive all around the world, accompanied by a professional diver and up to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Our Open Water Diver Course is one of our most complete and popular beginners diving courses, since you will end up with a diving certificate and a license to dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Theoretical classes, practice sessions in the pool and FOUR dives in the Lobos Island and you will be able to get this certificate.
