On the east side of Lobos Island, we find ‘la Carrera’ . a white Sandy bottom, circuited by black volcanic rocks, little caverns and overhangs,  in a depth that ranges from 12 to 15 metres. The contrast of the white sand, black rock and the sun playing in the crystal clear water makes for  one of the most beloved dive sites in the area.  In the sand, we look for stingrays and sleeping angel sharks. Over our heads are big shoals of smaller fish like damselfish, saddled bream and baracuda patiently circling and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Under the overhangs are trumpet fish, glasseye and scorpionfish.
